Complex biological processes such as repairing and regenerating injured or diseased cells and tissue take a long time to complete until the cell is back in its original form. Even then, although healed, most cells still fail to restore their primary states.
Proliferation (rapid reproduction of a cell) and migration of epithelial cells (thin tissue lining the outer part of the body’s surface) towards the damaged layer for resealing is involved in these processes.
Besides that, there is an electrical field generated by the flow of current out of the wound; an earlier stimulus for the cultivated migration of cells. That electric field is called Endogenous Bioelectric Field or EBF, commonly present in wounds and damaged tissues. The EBFs control cell differentiation, proliferation, and migration. They can also enable robust restoration of the skin’s normal patterns after severe injury.
Lesions induce this type of direct current in the tissues that are linked to its recovering process. Any alteration to the production of EBFs can reduce the recovery processes of cells and tissues inside the human body.
PU (pressure ulcer) and BI (burn injury) are two drastic wounds that require very extensive and difficult treatment. The first case was of a 70-year-old man with a long history of hypertension and diabetes. He had developed a bad condition of PU with deep lesions and full thickness tissue loss. He was given the REAC To RPR treatment as his wounds were diagnosed, and doctors observed quick tissue repair on the same day.
REAC TO RPR means radio electric asymmetric conveyer to reparative tissue optimization, the sole treatment combination for these specific wounds. The second reported case was of self-harm on the left arm of a 21-year-old. He had severe second-degree burns, and after undergoing a debridement treatment for removal of devitalized tissue, he was given the same REAC TO RPR treatment.
Both the cases showed different wounds PU and BI supported by distinct origins. Still, after the treatment, the endogenous bioelectric activity had led both of the lesions (wounds) to a common healing process. Hence, EBFs favor a refined restoration of any damaged tissues.
